Description of Human/Murine/Rat Myostatin / GDF-8 (glycosylated)
Myostatin Human Recombinant produced in HEK cells is a single, glycosylated, polypeptide chain (Asn24-Ser375) containing a total of 360 amino acids, having a calculated molecular mass of 41.1kDa. Myostatin is fused to a 2 aa N-terminal linker and a 6 aa His tag at N-Terminus.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
