Description of Human IL-10 (glycosylated)
Interleukin-10 Human Recombinant produced in HEK cells is a glycosylated non-disulfide bonded homodimer, having a total molecular weight of 17kDa.The IL10 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Biological Activity
The specific activity was determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of MC/9 cells (mouse mast cell line) in the presence of 200 pg/ml IL-4, and is typically 0.3-1.5ng/ml.
Reconstitution
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized IL-10 in sterile water not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Stability
Lyophilized IL-10 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution IL10 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
