Description of Human VEGF₁₆₅ (glycosylated)

Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Human Recombinant produced in CHO cells is a double, glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 165 amino acids and migrates as 44 kDa in SDS-PAGE under non-reducing conditions.

Biological Activity

The protein was tested in HUVEC cells, the ED₅₀ for this effect was found to be 2-6ng/ml.

Reconstitution

We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in sterile water to a concentration of at least 100 µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions. Do not vortex.

Stability

Lyophilized Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Human although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution VEGF Human Recombinant should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA, order number: 2835.955.xyz or 2835.958.xyz, or BSA, order number: 2835.919.xyz). Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
