Description of Synthetic EGF (Human)

No variations in quality and activity between production batches. All cell cultures and ectoderm, MSCs, Vero, MDCK, skin, neurons, organoids, etc.

 

Physcial State

Lyophilized as an amorphous powder from aqueous acetic acid solution.

 

Biological Activity

Measured by its ability to induce EGFR phosphorylation and proliferations of VeroE6 cells and HaCaT cells. Expected ED₅₀ for these effects is ~0.1~2 ng/mL. Determine optimal concentrations for individual applications.

 

Reconstitution

Open the vial carefully and put 200 µL of distilled water into the vial. Dissolve all the contents thoroughly. This procedure furnishes a 0.5 mg/mL solution of the titled compound.
