Description of Human BD-3
Beta Defensin-3 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 45 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 5161.2 Dalton.
Reconstitution
We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in sterile water to a concentration of at least 100 µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions. Do not vortex.
Stability
Lyophilized Beta Defensin-3 Recombinant although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution BD-3 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
