Description of Murine RANK Ligand soluble

sRANKL Murine Recombinant produced in E. coli is single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 175 amino acids (143-316 a.a.) and having a total molecular mass of 19.5kDa.

Biological Activity

Measured by its ability to induce TNF-alpha production in mouse RAW264.7 cells. The ED₅₀ is 48-72ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of 2.1x104 Units/mg

Reconstitution

We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in sterile water to a concentration of at least 100 µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions. Do not vortex.

Stability

Lyophilized TNFSF11 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution sRANKL should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA, order number: 2835.955.xyz or 2835.958.xyz, or BSA, order number: 2835.919.xyz). Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
