Description of BDNF Alternative Peptide

2.5 times stronger activity than the rBDNF at mass conc. (ng/mL). Neurons, Nerve cells, Neural Organoids, or Nerve Bundles.

 

Physcial State

Lyophilized from 0.2 µm filtered DMSO solution.

 

Biological Activity

Measured by its ability to induce TrkB phosphorylation and NFAT activation (Reporter Assay). Expected ED₅₀ for these effects is ~2 ng/mL Determine optimal concentrations for individual applications.

 

Reconstitution

Reconstitute at 100~500 µg/mL in DMSO. Centrifuge the vial before opening. Rinse the inside of the vial thoroughly with DMSO. Example: a 100 µg/mL solution can be prepared by reconstituting 10 µg of peptide in 100 µL DMSO.
