Description of FGF2 Alternative Peptide

2-3 times stronger activity than the rFGF2 at mass conc. (ng/mL). Undifferentiated maintenance of iPSC, or cultivated meat applications.

 

Physcial State

Lyophilized from 0.2 µm filtered DMSO solution.

 

Biological Activity

Measured by its ability to induce phosphorylation of human FGFR1c in BaF3 cells overexpressing human FGFR1c, as well as through a proliferation assay using human mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) derived from bone marrow. The expected ED₅₀ for these effects is 0.1~1.5 ng/mL. Determine optimal concentrations for individual applications.

 

Reconstitution

Reconstitute at 100~200 µg/mL in DMSO. Centrifuge the vial before opening. Rinse the inside of the vial thoroughly with DMSO. Example: a 100 µg/mL solution can be prepared by reconstituting 10 µg of peptide in 100 µL DMSO.
