Description of IL-15 Alternative Peptide

PG-013 is anticipated to have comparable activity to rhIL-15 when expressed on a ng/mL basis. To identify the optimal concentration under the specified test conditions, begin at the same concentration used for rhIL-15 and evaluate a dose series centered on that value (suggested points: 1/3x, 1x, and 3x).

 

Physcial State

Lyophilized from 0.2 µm filtered DMSO solution.

 

Biological Activity

Measured by assessing reporter assay in the downstream signaling of the JAK1/3-STAT5 pathway. Additionally, cell proliferation activity was evaluated using human NK cell line, KHYG-1 cells. The expected ED₅₀ for these effects is 0.05~0.2 ng/mL.

 

Reconstitution

Reconstitute at 100~200 µg/mL in DMSO Centrifuge the vial before opening. Rinse the inside of the vial thoroughly with DMSO. When further diluting the DMSO solution, we recommend using a buffered solution (e.g., PBS) with a carrier component to prevent peptide adhesion. Example: a 100 µg/mL solution can be prepared by reconsituting 10 µg of peptide in 100 µL DMSO.
