Description of Bovine Albumin serum / BSA
Contains 583 amino acid residues derived from the prototypical bovine serum albumin sequence. Suitable for use as a biochemical, excipient (an inert substance used as a diluent or vehicle for a protein), in culture media and chromatographic applications.
Reconstitution
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized BSA in sterile 18MO-cm H2O for 20 minutes at room temperature and at a concentration no greater than 200mg/ml.
Stability
Lyophilized BSA although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored 2-8°C. Upon reconstitution BSA should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
