Description of Human C5a
C5a Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 74 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 8.3kDa.
Biological Activity
The biological activity determined by its ability to chemoattract human monocytes using a concentration range of 1.0-10.0 ng/ml.
Reconstitution
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized C5a Human in sterile 18M-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Stability
Lyophilized Human C5a although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Human C5a should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
