Description of Human CDNF
CDNF Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 161 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 18.5kDa.
Biological Activity
The ED50 as determined by its ability to stimulate the proliferation of rat C6 cells is 15-25µg/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of 40-67units/mg.
Reconstitution
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized CDNF in sterile 18M-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Stability
Lyophilized CDNF although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution CDNF should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA, order number: 2835.955.xyz or 2835.958.xyz, or BSA, order number: 2835.919.xyz). Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
