Description of Human EMAP-II
EMAP-II Recombinant Human produced in E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 166 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 18.3 kDa.
Biological Activity
Determined by the apoptotic effect on MCF-7 cells using a concentration of 20-30 ng/ml.
Reconstitution
We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in sterile water to a concentration of at least 100 µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions. Do not vortex.
Stability
Lyophilized EMAP-II although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution EMAP-II should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
