Product Details
Synonyms
Fibroblast growth factor 19, FGF-19, FGF19.
Description of Human FGF-19
FGF19 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 195 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 21.8 kDa.
Biological Activity
The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of balb/c 3T3 cells is 100-150ng/ml.
Reconstitution
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized FGF-19 in sterile 18M-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Stability
Lyophilized FGF-19 Human Recombinant although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Fibroblast Growth Factor-19 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA, order number: 2835.955.xyz or 2835.958.xyz, or BSA, order number: 2835.919.xyz). Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
