Description of Human Flt3-Ligand (glycosylated, HEK)
Flt3-Ligand Human Recombinant produced in HEK293 cells is a glycosylated, polypeptide chain, migrates as a diffuse band on SDS-PAGE due to heterogeneous glycosylation at 30kDa.
Biological Activity
The ED50 as determined by the dose dependent proliferation of human OCI-AML5 cells is 0.5 to 1.0 ng/ml (Specific Activity: 2.0 x 1,000,000 – 1.0 x 1,000,000 units/mg).
Reconstitution
We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in sterile water to a concentration of at least 100 µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions. Do not vortex.
Stability
Lyophilized Flt3-Ligand although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Flt3-Ligand should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA, order number: 2835.955.xyz or 2835.958.xyz, or BSA, order number: 2835.919.xyz). Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
