Description of Human Fractalkine / CX3CL1
Fractalkine Human Recombinant- produced in E. coli is a single,non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 76 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 8638 Dalton.
Biological Activity
The Biological activity is calculated by its ability to chemoattract human T-Lymphocytes using a concentration range of 5.0-10.0 ng/ml corresponding to a Specific Activity of 100,000-200,000IU/mg.
Reconstitution
We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in sterile water to a concentration of at least 100 µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions. Do not vortex.
Stability
Lyophilized CX3CL1 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution CX3CL1 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA, order number: 2835.955.xyz or 2835.958.xyz, or BSA, order number: 2835.919.xyz). Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
