Description of Human Growth Hormone (glycosylated, HEK)
Growth Hormone Human Recombinant produced in HEK cells is a non-glycosylated monomer, having a total molecular weight of 22kDa.
Biological Activity
The activity was determined by the dose dependent stimulation of the proliferation of rat lymphoma line Nb2-11 cells (prolactin indicator cell line), the ED50 is <2ng/ml.
Reconstitution
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized GH in sterile 1xPBS containing 0.1% endotoxin-free recombinant HSA (order number: 2835.958.xyz).
Stability
Lyophilized GH although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution GH should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA, order number: 2835.955.xyz or 2835.958.xyz, or BSA, order number: 2835.919.xyz). Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
