Description of Human IL-17A / F (heterodimer)
IL-17A/F Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a heterodimeric, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 1 monomeric subunit of each IL-17A & IL-17F. The active dimer contains 271 amino acids and having a total molecular mass of 30.7 kDa.
Biological Activity
The activity as determined by production of IL-6 from mouse 3T3 cells is 3.2ng/ml (3.1x105units/mg).
Reconstitution
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Interleukin Human IL-17A/F in sterile water at 0.1mg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Stability
Lyophilized Human IL-17A/F although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Human IL-17A/F should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA, order number: 2835.955.xyz or 2835.958.xyz, or BSA, order number: 2835.919.xyz). Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
