Description of Human MIP-3 / CCL23
MIP-3 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 99 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 11.3kDa.
Biological Activity
Determined by its ability to chemoattract human T cell population using a concentration range of 10-50ng/ml corresponding to a Specific Activity of 20,000-100,000IU/mg.
Reconstitution
We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in sterile water to a concentration of at least 100 µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions. Do not vortex.
Stability
Lyophilized MIP-3 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution CCL23 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA, order number: 2835.955.xyz or 2835.958.xyz, or BSA, order number: 2835.919.xyz). Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
