Description of Human PAI-2 / Serpin B2
Recombinant human PAI-2 /SERPIN B2 derived from E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated, protein containing 415 amino acids with a molecular mass of 46.6 kDa.
Biological Activity
Determined by its inhibitory effect against single chain tPA induced cleavage of a chromogenic substrate in Imidazole Buffer at 37°C. Half maximal inhibition against 1.0 µg/ml of single chain tPA was obtained at a concentration of 1.0 µg/ml
Reconstitution
We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in sterile water to a concentration of at least 100 µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions. Do not vortex.
Stability
Store vial at -20°C to -80°C. When stored at the recommended temperature, this protein is stable for 12 months. Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
