Description of Rat Fractalkine / CX3CL1
Fractalkine Rat Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 76 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 8.7kDa.
Biological Activity
Determined by its ability to chemoattract human monocytes using a concentration range of 5.0-10.0 ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of 100,000-200,000units/mg.
Reconstitution
We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in sterile water to a concentration of at least 100 µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions. Do not vortex.
Stability
Lyophilized FractalkineRat although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Fractalkine should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
