Description of Rat IL-7
IL 7 Rat Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 129 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 15.0kDa.
Biological Activity
The ED50 was determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of murine 2E8 cells is less than 0.2ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of >5,000,000IU/mg.
Reconstitution
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized IL-7 in sterile 18M-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Stability
Lyophilized IL-7 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution IL-7 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
