Description of Rhesus Macaque IL-4
IL-4 Rhesus Macaque Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 129 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 14.9kDa.
Biological Activity
The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of TF1 cells is less than 0.2ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of >5.0×106 IU/mg.
Reconstitution
We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in sterile water to a concentration of at least 100 µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions. Do not vortex.
Stability
Lyophilized Interleukin-4 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution IL4 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
