Description of TGF β1 Inhibitor Peptide

Unlike small kinase inhibitors, TGF β1 Inhibitor Peptide does not exhibit inhibitory activity against Activin A, making it very specific to TGFβ1 signaling. Differentiation of iPSC, Alternative to small kinase inhibitors like A83-01 or SB545334, maintenance of organoids.

 

Physcial State

Lyophilized from 0.2 µm filtered DMSO solution.

 

Biological Activity

Measured by its ability to inhibit SBE reporter activity induced by 0.13 nM TGFβ1. Expected IC50 value for this effect is ~1.2 nM. Determine optimal concentrations for individual applications.

 

Reconstitution

Reconstitute at 50~ 150 µM in DMSO. Centrifuge the vial before opening. Rinse the inside of the vial thoroughly with DMSO. Example: 100 µM solution prepared when10 µg peptide reconstituted by 38.6 µL DMSO.
