Description of VEGF Alternative Peptide

4-8 times stronger activity than the rVEGF at mass conc. (ng/mL). Endothelial cells, Blood vessels, Blood brain barrier, blood cells, or HSCs.

 

Physcial State

Lyophilized from 0.2 µm filtered DMSO solution.

 

Biological Activity

Measured by its ability to induce VEGFR2 phosphorylation and endothelial cell proliferation. Expected ED₅₀ for this proliferation assay is ~3 ng/mL. Determine optimal concentrations for individual applications.

 

Reconstitution

Reconstitute at 100~200 µg/mL in DMSO. Centrifuge the vial before opening. Rinse the inside of the vial thoroughly with DMSO. Example: a 100 µg/mL solution can be prepared by reconstituting 5 µg of peptide in 50 µL DMSO.
