Description of TPO Alternative Peptide

1-2.6 times stronger activity than the rTPO at mass conc. (ng/mL). Hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs), Platelets (megakaryocytes), iPSC-derived T/NK cells, or macrophages (not autologous ones).

 

Physcial State

Lyophilized from 0.2 µm filtered DMSO solution.

 

Biological Activity

Measured by its ability to induce phosphorylation of ERK in the downstream signaling of the TPO signaling pathway, as well as by the reporter gene activation assay on the JAK2-STAT5 signaling pathway. The expected ED₅₀ for these effects is 0.25~1.5 ng/mL. Determine optimal concentrations for individual applications.

 

Reconstitution

Reconstitute at 100~200 µg/mL in DMSO. Centrifuge the vial before opening. Rinse the inside of the vial thoroughly with DMSO. Example: a 100 µg/mL solution can be prepared by reconstituting 10 µg of peptide in 100 µL DMSO.
